But getting to the point where you can do that is hard for people that suck at music.
Apparrently Jun can't even pick correctly. Try adding a triplet feel with that. But no, Nobody goes out of 4/4. Which leads you in to very repititous chord changes and overall 'feels' of songs.
And playing with a pick sounds punchier. As far as I know, it's only practical for metal.

He can't pick "correctly"? Maybe the songs he plays just call for a timing like that. It seems like it wouldn't have anything to do with SKILL.

I was talking about always down picking. Worst picking technique you can develop. Near impossible to play 16th notes like that.
And I apologize for branching off like that, but it just got me thinking.

Anyway, the major difference between picking versus using fingers is the sound.
