Again this guy knows jack squat about the pillows. First he calls "Dead Stock Paradise" brilliant?! WTF?!?!?! Granted it's a good song to surf to; but it's far from brilliant. Second no mention of Sayonara Universe?! Ass! Finally he says that "MARCH OF THE GOD" "stumbles in the bridges with some discordant chords". What a schmuck!

Yeah, true. He does bring up a few good points. But some are kinda wrong, and should be based on opinion.

Please, this is hardly an album to defend.

Although I do like Degeneration, it's near the bottom of my top songs off the album.

well i guess i do agree with him on a few points, like Rock n Roll Sinners and Air Resistor, but to say that Degeneration is FLCL-esque? that's only because it sounds like runner's high, but that doesn't make it as good and how are you not even going to mention Sayonara Universe and Gazelle City, arguably two of the best songs on the album? for the most part, this guys review is pretty bad. but i guess everyone is entitled to their opinion

Degeneration sucks, and why do we care about a review from ANIME NEWS NETWORK? Seriously, he compares the pillows making albums to Gainax putting out Evangelion merchandise.

I disagreed with almost everything he said and agreed with everything omnistry said . . . why did he even think to compare Kuuchuu Resister with Instant Music? Anyway, I personally try not to compare songs at all and just think of them as they are, and it annoys me that he did that—he referred to PL and FLCL way too much.

Yeah, no mention of Sayonara Universe or Gazelle City or The third eye . . . which I find strange. He liked My girl, though, which is good. But I love MARCH OF THE GOD (the intro with headphones=:groovin:), and I don't think Degeneration's nearly as great as he seems to think it is.

Hey, I happen to enjoy MY FOOT, even if it isn't as good as a lot of other albums. And I like it quite a lot better than PENALTY LIFE, too.
