huh.......after reading a bit more of jedi's post, i feel kinda bad for sawao. haha. i really cant imagine sawao flipping out, but i guess in this case........

my gf has video of the asshole running up on stage and stuff. Man, sucks that the dude had to be such an attention hoar. Overall she says the concert was awesome. She just wishes the pillows played longer 2 hrs of 5 opening bands was a bit much.

There was this one guy in his mid 40's that was obviously a parent, standing next to me. He was such a nübe that he was shaking his body to the pillows sets. I took notice of this when they were playing I Know You and THR. Around the time they went into the interupted ROSS, I took notice that he was on his cell phone. PLAYIN TETRIS. So much disrespect.

Man, that guy. Probably the only reason why he tried to apoogize was cus he knew that everyone there was going to kill him. There was a million people there, im pretty sure a couple of them own guns.

On a lighter note. I met sawao 4 hours before the show when they first arrived. He was walking across the street to the liquor store to get some water and I ran up to him with my video camera and shook his hands. After I came back this other guy decided to go with him and they were walking and talking together. So my friend michelle told me I should go follow so me, that guy who with sawao's friends, and the camera lady for the Pillow's dvd (i assume there's going to be a new one) followed sawao and the guy to the liquor store. When we got into the liquor store the guy had baught sawao some water and we all started laughing cus we thought he was going to use the bathroom ahahhaa. So we're walking outside and me and the girl are shooting him from opposite ends. I decided to get out of her way cus sawao was talking to her camera and I didn't want to get in her shot. He was just telling her how the guy baught him water hahahaa. I walked up beside sawao and I came up all anxious and stuff and said "sawao?" "yes?" "Can you play PROPOSE?" "what?" "PROPOSE?" "OH! Song title? You... know... that?" "Yes, can you play it." Sawao brings his hand to his chin like zues or something "hmmm..." "PLEASE!! ONEGAI!! (My only japanese word ahaha) "Ok, ok, I... will.. talk. with band mates. ok?" "OK!!"

Man, I was so excited. Later on they closed the doors cus they were opem before but random people kept coming in and out and I stood by the door while they were doing sound check and practicing the songs for that night when all of a sudden, clear as day, they played a song I never heard before, and I knew it was PROPOSE. I was so happy, I called my fiancee and told her the good news, she was estatic! It taught me a valuable lesson about the pillows: ask and you will recieve. Oh man, sawao, you make dreams come true, thank you for playing it even when that stupid guy came.

Oh, btw, I also was eating at Dukes at the same time as them at a seperate table. It was cool, a big japanese family took a big picture with them ahahaha.

Somebody's head got in my face so I had to push them out of the way.

When he said"Do you like Furi Kuri?" I choked.
He somewhat murdered Blues Drive, played I Know You, I was a little worried at first how will it turn out. By the way, what was the reason Sawao stopped singing Ride on Shooting Star and then switched to LD did somebody in the audience request it what happened? LD sounded great live.

My thoughts exactly. But I think they were gonna play it anyway. They played it in Chicago. But man was it intense!

I dont think that the song was on the setlist. I'm not sure though... I was trying to read the setlist upside down.

LD was the stress reliever. BEST LIVE RENDITION EVER. so much of sawao's emotion. It sounded not only angry but very sad in a way.
