They looked bored and tired? I hope this doesn't translate into a boring LA show.
I can't comment on the NYC show of course, but I can say that I really didn't get that impression in Chicago.

I practically missed the NYC show and I live in the Bronx! Was the show sold out? Cuz if it wasn't I'll go commit suicide quitely in my room.

I'll agree with the other people that the setlist was pretty disappointing although not surprising. This was their third show in NY so far and I've heard most of those songs at every show. The highlight of the performance was the songs off My Foot just because I never heard them live before. Third Eye was pretty exciting.
A bunch of people were waiting around after the show buying merchandise and hoping the guys would come out for autographs. They came out after a while at which point most people had left. I didn't have anything to get signed, but it was cool to shake Sawao and Manabe's hands and talk to them briefly.
On my way to the subway, I spotted the band and crew going into a Korean restaurant/bar. I didn't spot any other fans around at that point and used the opportunity to talk to Sawao some more. Apparently, Sawao wants to make another Predators album, but he said it was hard to take the time with everybody's busy schedules. As they were going in, I was hoping that they'd ask me to join them, but no such luck. I got the distinct impression that they wanted to just relax with friends and fellow Japanese speakers only. I was really disappointed, but I guess I shouldn't really expect my favorite band asking me to hang out. Oh well.
Anyway, it was nice meeting you other people there at the end of the show.

Do you remember what the name of the restaurant was they went to, or where it's located?

I know none of you may feel this way; but
Anyone hear yet of another O.P. King CD?

I think I saw that place. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to stay (something like a diner, being from New Jersey), and we passed by a Korean restaurant, but it looked a bit too pricey for our wallets. I believe there was someone standing at the door, a maitre d'hotel of sorts, it seemed.

o.p. king was by far the best side project yet. I hope they do something else in the future.

It was right around the block from Knitting Factory on Canal Street I believe. The name was like "Koni" or something like that. I was a bit drunk so my memory isn't that great. The place definitely looked pricey though. It was a modern setting and design and probably catered to the non-Korean crowd.
I do remember there being a diner very close by last time I went to the KF. Couldn't find it this time.

Water was free at the Knitting Factory...
Anyway, my friend and I walked into that Spanish restaurant thing, said something along the lines of "WTF?" while standing a little into the doorway, and then promptly left.
But on the way TO the KF, we went to this fast food establishment that we had never seen before named Ranch 1, and were blown away by the awesome food, despite the crappy service.

I can't say for certain, but I do know that we ended up getting three cups (three for the two of us because of a misunderstanding), and I do know that we did not pay him anything. I guess that is pretty certain, but you can never be too certain.
