I was glad to hear that it wasn't catfish. He and I don't get along sometimes, but I thought it would be a little excessive for him to laugh at my dehydration.

Funny you mention him. Was just talking to Catfish on Soulseek. Been sending me some stuff for my radio show. We both can't remember why he was banned.[/quote]

I've got like the only poster for the show. I grabbed it off a door outside the venue. I'll scan it if you guys wanna see it. It's just yellow with black writing on it.

 Hello.
Hi. I've been a lurker for a loooong time, but for some reason I haven't felt compelled to post until now.
I flew up from Atlanta to attend this show (it was cheaper than my original plan to hit the NYC show) which is funny to me since I first saw them play at ACEN. Oh, how I wish they would come through the south!
Anyhow, I meandered my way up front after the massive crowd swells. I had no idea there would be such an intense pit. I had planned to get there sooper early, but my flight was delayed somewhat... otherwise, I would have been against the stage so I could take pictures. Oh well, it was still a ton of fun to rock out with a cool crowd. Well, save for the weirdo attention hogs.
Okay, enough of my rambling nonsense. Here's the first pic that really turned out well:

Everything else looks bad because I couldn't get a frame off without getting bumped or moved. These two look kinda faux artsy, so I'll share:

Dude, I'm pretty sure I saw you. You were the big guy with a goatee, right? I thought about talking to you when I heard you say to some lady that you flew in from Atlanta, since I figured we could chat about the band, but something else distracted me... probably the pillows.

That show was AMAZING! I quit my job...just so I could go. I requested the day off, but my boss wouldn't give, so I up and quit. It was worth it. I was in the front row...Sawao stage-dove on top of us a couple times. Wonderful stuff...

I never knew Sawao stage dove... I vaguely remember him stage diving at the Shibuya West show...

Sorry man...okay...the first band was actually pretty good.
But...that I Need Sleep band...
Maybe it was just the lyrics...'cause that Hawaii song kinda gave me a headache.

Haha. That's better, a little actual critique of what you didn't like.
Light Pollution was pretty decent, I thought. They put on a good show, and I guess since it's Bojan's band (right?) I'm a bit biased in their favor.
I liked I Need Sleep, as well. Some of their songs, I guess I can see how people wouldn't like them, but I think they're really the sort of band you go to see live. Their insanity onstage was just awesome. I also enjoyed the way all of them just switched instruments all the time and took turns doing everything.

Light Pollution did their thing well. I don't like the vocal style very much, but if you're into it, they were actually good. I really did not like I Need Sleep, though. I felt that they were very gimmicky to cover up lack of good material.
