no propose guys
i yelled it out ALOT
i got a pic of manabe's setlist because some other guy got it before i could
started off the orgasmic night with stalker
followed y advice, had the first four tracks of My Foot, i think i can, ride on shooting star, the usual stuff
+ sleepy head, and encore 1 included....er ....crazy sunshine + another song
encore 2 was one life
the night was hot as balls, i got close up to manabe, close enough that i was able to touch sawao's hair when he stage dived....they gave the pillows a skate board that said "pillows forever" i didnt get a pic of it
i got enough of everything, and my PML signed by the three and Solomonic Polar Bear by manabe (booklets)
manabe was soooooo pleased by overburn's shirt, ill let him tell about that though
i got a pic with 2/4(none with sawao + jun)...and i talked to manabe alittle. i would have talked to him some more but he had some business (he was chatting with two females and had a beer in his hand)
"are you coming back next year?"
"maybe"
i got pictures, ill load those up later
overall, this night was FUCKING amazing, i would have came so many times if it wasnt for the fact i was rubbing up against otehr guys...
(btw i met skoolyard + overburn +busterken)

Amazing night. I started at the very back (I got there late, around 6:30) and was at the stage by the time they played "Ride on Shooting Star." I was in the "second row" for quite a while, though.
It was kind of annoying seeing this group of friends taking the front row, complaining and acting perturbed at the fact that they were being pressed to the stage. I mean, come on, if you're going to be at the stage, you should expect it and not cry about it. Not to verbally attack them or anything, but come on, guys.
Sawao got bopped in the head with his microphone by some chick.
Some improper kid (I shall not criticize him too sharply, lest he post on this site - he was one of the front row crew that I conveniently made my way in between) ran up on the stage and stole guitar picks. Not cool.
Some girl may or may not have passed out.
It was very hot and sweaty.
I bought a Buster-kun shirt.
I bought a sticker set.
I lost the sticker set.
I keep thinking that Manabe just might be gay. Not in a bad way, just in a "Hey, I wouldn't be surprised if..." way.

Elton John was also married to a woman. In any case, Manabe's cool, no matter what he is, although metro might be accurate.
As for the girl, she seemed to just get right back up. I couldn't observe very well because I was busy being at the stage !
One more thing, is it bad that my ears are still ringing hardcore?

Me, Tatsu and our friend just got back from New York City.
Well, to start the evening off, we ran into Sawao and Jun, along with some of their roadies in the middle of New York. Not sure what street it was on. Our friend was wearing Neko Dokuro shirt, and Sawao waved. We tried to take a picture, but no luck (they were on their way to, I assume, the venue, so we didn't want to bother them). Of course, that was very exciting, but we were kind of upset that we didn't get to see Shin or Manabe. Oh well..
As for the concert itself, we all agreed it was just decent. The setlist was pretty boring, Sawao's comments throughout the show were very familiar, and as Joyeuse mentioned, they all seemed pretty tired. It was ridiculously hot. Sawao summoned the crowd up to the front, so there was constant physical contact with sweaty otakus.. Speaking of which, the audience was kind of obnoxious. One thing that bothered me especially was people having conversations during various song introductions. I don't really know if that's to be expected or not, but it seems pretty rude to me. Notably, the Pillows seemed kind of unwilling to do a second encore (Manabe looked bored as hell).
Well, after the show.. We decided to wait until 10 (the show ended somewhere around 8:30, I think) in the Knitting Factory's bar area for the Pillows to sign our albums. I bought a Disney Buster shirt, Tatsu bought a sticker set, and our friend bought a Hybrid Rainbow shirt. After a while, the road crew (which consisted primarily of very attractive young women) began putting away the goods. At this point most of the crowd had lost hope and gone home, but there were still a few fans waiting around. Tatsu noticed that there were three DVDs in one of the boxes that the roadies were loading with goods. Upon closer inspection, he found out that they were domestic copies of the Delicious Bump Show DVD! They only had three, and we bought two (some girl bought the last one). That was pretty cool, and we continued waiting. Finally, at around 9:30 the Pillows showed up. Sawao and Manabe came first, and we approached quickly before realizing that we didn't have a pen/marker.. We borrowed this kid's Sharpie (multiple times). Tatsu got Kool Spice signed. Manabe responded with "furui na," and laughed when Tatsu said "Pee-chan." Sawao was pretty surprised, too. Shin, who was outside, busy talking to a group of cute girls, was not particularly interested. I got Living Field signed. Manabe didn't have much of a reaction, but Sawao laughed and pointed to his picture, saying "Young." Shin, again, was unimpressed. Haha.. it was cool; Sawao pointed to my noodles shirt and said "sugoi t shatsu.. cool shirt."
Despite the so-so show, it was really fun..

I don't see why everyone's making such a big deal out of chuck norris when sato is obviously twice as powerful.

They looked bored and tired? I hope this doesn't translate into a boring LA show. That or they play a dream set list considing of classic shit like Swanky Street, Nowhere, Backseat Dog, Last Dinosaur and what not.
I'm hoping I come across a copy of "Cover Me Shakespear" when I'm buying their shit.
