Hey now, dinner with Bojan isn't all bad. I had a drink with him once and he was quite entertaining and informative.

ps. i got a free copy of the new Delicious Bump DVD and the new Noodles album that comes out next month. pss. the band also gave me a little gift basket which i'm supposed to send you. email me your address.
GAH DAMNIT. Next year I'm going to bribe Sawao to come to Omaha and let my band open just so I can get an advance copy of the latest noodles album.
Well he did get them the arena, the date and everything else too (besides the hotel, I found that). You don't think we call him superman for nothing do you?

Do you guys know if there were any posters on the wall for the concert? I'm talking about the ones that promote the concert and list all the bands and what not. I rather have them sign that instead of bringing a cd which could be messed up.

Not at the Chicago show. Especially considering how last-minute these shows were planned, I doubt they would have mailed any posters over ahead of time, and I doubt they have any local promoters here. If anyone puts posters up at the other shows, I imagine it would be the venue (if they aren't sold out) or whoever booked them, and even then it would probably only be printouts of the PDF you can get at the MY FOOT USA TOUR website. If you have a nice photo printer, you could print one out yourself, but that'd be even harder than a CD to keep nice, which you can put in your pocket. I think the best bet would be to have them sign your ticket, or buy the sticker set after the show and have them sign that. I just had them sign my ticket. If you do bring a CD, try to bring a newer one. Someone brought White Incarnation, and he said Jun was understandably hesitant to sign it.

I just kept my stuff in a little satchel type bag I took with me everywhere. The stickers stayed nice and safe pressed against a notebook, even in spite of the moshing. The CD I brought for them to sign stayed safe, too.
Speaking of which, I'll scan that.
It looks like a lot of the pictures my friend and I took during the show came out blurry. I haven't seen the video yet, but that is likely aslo a bit low in the quality department.
EDIT: Linked to preserve the sanctity of the h-scroll. The last two are in silver because I apparently donated my black sharpie to the crowd. I guess none of them remembered to bring one of their own.

i know it might sound a bit corny, but bubble wrapping your album will keep it safe. lucky for me, the copy of PML i got signed jsut happened to come in the day of the concert, so i kept the origianl bubble wrap it came in.
and joyeuse, i remember right before i got my autograph from sawao, he was asking everyone who's black sharpie he had. nobody knew so he just shrugged and gave it to the person closest to him. don't know if that was yours or not, lol

Eh, probably was. Guess I'll bring two next time.
EDIT: This guy's myspace has a few pictures of the show in his profile pictures section. They're not in color, but they're still sharper than the ones I got. I dunno if he posts here or what.

That's awesome. Luis said he was getting something signed for me, so I'm anxiously awaiting what he sends back to me.

Hey, maybe I'll get hooked up with a free album for sporting a noodles t-shirt.
Well, probably not, but a man can dream...
I think I might have seen catfish. There was some super-pale, skin and bones kids in a novelty t-shirt who made this weird little snickering sound after the show when a blue line employee told me she couldn't give me change for a drink (which I needed, it being so fucking hot in the show).
haha, catfish wasn't there.

Funny you mention him. Was just talking to Catfish on Soulseek. Been sending me some stuff for my radio show. We both can't remember why he was banned.

Huh. I had mine in my bag, he just pawed through it first. Probably to make sure I didn't have a gun or something.
They took your sharpies? Were you planning to draw on Sawao to death?
