=(
The signing of telecaster deal fell through. Just couldn't come up with the money to buy it. Damn life and those things called "priorities". I suppose it's not that big of a surprise, as situations with musicians or artists regarding money goes. I happen to be both, so i guess that must mean double-bad.
I'm going to do the next best thing though and design a shirt. So, you guys will know who i am cause i'll be wearing it. Hopefully i will have finished the design by tomorrow or so, then i can post it up.
Btw, were they selling any Pillows albums at the past shows? If so, were they expensive, like the overseas ones you buy online $20-$30 bucks? I need to fill out my collection. XD
I'll be the other Mexican guy. Wearing a 'Busters We have a Theme song' shirt. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to that Subway meeting, though, because my brother is giving me a ride and he works that day.
Accoring to jedipunk its right in front of it, so you can walk to subway.

Looks like it's sold-out, the LA show. I checked Ticketmaster's website for my friend and it can't find the tickets. Anyone know if they sell the tickets at the door despite the fact it's soldout at Ticketmaster?

Try calling up a Tower Records or Wherehouse if you have any close to your area, maybe. Most of their stores sell Ticketmaster tickets. Perhaps you can acquire them that way, instead.

if the Mapquest map is correct, it's not right across the street. a little down the road, but it's less than a mile. And Subway is going to look less tempting cuz there are like. 2-3 Japanese restaurants around. XD I didn't want to meet there cuz they dont seem like the type of place for people to casually meet and hang around.

Well, I've got my ticket. Asking for a friend, thanks for the info, hopefully the Ticketmaster retail stores may still have 'em in store.

they dont have them in store, they just have fun machines that print out tickets. they probably use the same program thingy as ticketmaster.com.
There's 2 other bands playing before the pillows. So that means they won't be on until like 10 or 11pm.
Aren't the other bands just opening for them? That could quite possibly be the longest opening I've ever heard of.

That is awesome. I just checked ticketmaster and LA show is indeed sold out. I'm stoked for the Pillows. That was a steep price too. That is a good sign for future touring.
I've been to a lot of sold out shows needing a ticket and usually I can get one. When Sigur Ros played last year I heard of people paying $150/ ticket online for the sold out show. We showed up a little before the show needing one ticket and before we even got to the door we got one from a guy for LESS than face value. He just wanted to unload it. And it was a good seat! Just get there early and have patience.

Don't take one. You'll run the risk of them not letting you in with it and getting it GHETTOSTOLEN.
Or you can call up the venue.
