I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and assume that this will negatively affect my chances of meeting / getting an autograph.

damn, this sucks mostly everything will sell out faster and therell be huge lines for autographs..

I don't think you guys will have any problems getting merch or autographs. Really. Last year's show was pretty crowded (sold out at King King) and it was really easy to go up to Sawao and talk to him. This year will be a little more crowded and the Pillows are headlining, but trust me. You won't have a problem.

I'm really curious if this show will sell out (particularly in advance). That's a pretty big pricetag for a small, non-arena type show even in 2006. I saw the Shins a year and a half ago for only $15. The Walkmen just played for $15. Metric played a sold out House of Blues for only $10. And the Ticketmaster exclusive raping means you're definitely paying $24 to see The Pillows if you want the ticket before the day of.

I wasn't aware that Sawao made himself really approachable. Did they just stay after that show for a while for signing and meeting people, or what?

As a side note, the prices for ticketmaster are just ridiculous. I was considering buying some extras for scalping, but they beat me to it.

At the King King Sawao walked with a marker in hand ready to sign autographs. Manabe and Shin walked out to smoke just before their show.

And after the show they all came out to sign stuff including Jun. It was great, and Sawao even went to sit with a few fans in a couch outside the King King to relax.

I will be goign to the LA show. I want to go to the san fran show too, but sadly wont make it to that one.

Oh, awesome. Hopefully they'll do the same thing here. Anyone else up for that whole In 'N Out idea that was brought up...apparently in some other thread?
