Yeah, I'd be laughing because of Halo being on the system. I'd be crying on the inside. /me cuts

The more I hear about the system and the more videos I see, the more I want to play it. I can't say that much for the other systems, so I guess the Wii wiins in my eyes.

Asparagus syndrome?
No just kidding, I know what asperger's is (actually I know about 10 people with it). I've just always wanted to call it asparagus syndrome.

ASPIE PRIDE.
I get so happy when I see those puzzle piece ribbons that say "Autism Awareness" on people's cars.
I get so angry when people have those AUTISM WALK FOR A CURE cause you can't cure autism... it's like trying to change a person's eye color they were born with. Asperger's and autism is not a disease, it's just the way your brain is wired.

There's a kid at my school with asperger's (well, he just graduated but he did go to my school), and he's completely obsessed with menstrual cycles and has written several songs about them. I'm going to miss him.

LOL.
Well, you can probably tell what my obsession it. Also, I have an obsession with decorating things (such as my room, if you've seen that), collecting things (you can see that with my room as well, and collecting songs). Right now I've read about four books on Salvador Dali and I saw his exhibit at the Phillidelphia Museum of Fine Arts... the obsessions are not as bad as they used to be though. I was obsessed with dinosaurs at one point... My only problem obsession now is using up soap really fast...

High-functioning Autistic here! We both have the better imagination. Our poster child is no longer fucking Dustin Hoffman in that faggot retard of a movie "Rain Man"! Craig Nicholls (the Vines) is our spokesperson.
And no cure for Autism. Don't need it. Don't want it. All I need to find is a smart, sexy gal to cuddle; and I'll be "cured" .
My obsession: filmmaking, anime, screenwriting, and spreading the word of the J-POP revolution on my new radio show . Uh, and girls . And Nintendo.
Oh; and I hate the term Asperger's. Sounds like the guy was poked fun of when he was a kid.
"Uh...we'll take Jimmy, Frank, and Butt-Whopper there!"
"Who can name the chemical symbol for lead? Spinkter-Big Mac?"
"And the winner of the science award for discovery of a new brain disorder is...Gluteus Maximus Fuddruckers!!!"

:O! You're an aspie too (or an autistic person)?
Yeah, I'd like to cuddle with someone too to be cured, but the problem is I don't like being touched! (another trait of asperger's).
We got a lot in common though with our radio thing and our high functioning... And you live in MA too...

I still don't get how asperger's is even a disorder. It sounds more like personality traits to me.

It's on the spectrum of autism, but like he said, high functioning autism. So we can do most of the normal things other people, or Neuro-typicals, can do, but we might have some difficulty.
Like I'm not very good at math (I've failed it every year since the 6th grade). We may have above average intelligence and IQs (I was tested twice for learning disorders in 9th grade and 10th grade and mine was pretty high...). Not only that, but it's usually boys who are diagnosed with it.
But there's some things that they probably have a hard time understanding (math), or another thing I can't understand is sports... but they sometimes call it the Geek Gene or whatever, because people with it tend not to have very good social skills. Like, if someone from here spoke to me, you'd notice that I wouldn't be looking at you in the eyes, or I'd be studdering a bit, even twitchy. Also, they tend to know a lot about a certain subject... and are able to talk about it intensely.
My main problem is I absolutely cannot read body language. Therefore, I cannot display my own body language. Someone at school wrote on this paper that had my name on it at a retreat "Smile more! It's pretty!" the truth is, I have a hard time displaying facial expressions and I'll smile/not smile when it's innopropriate to do so.
SO NOW YOU KINDA KNOW WHAT ASPERGER'S SYNDROME IS~~ If you want more information, wikipedia has a good article... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger%27s
