I'm going! Coming all the way from North Carolina, because the NY show sold out. 16+ hours to get there. Should be fun though :)
My dad lives in NC and I'm at his house right now (Rather unexpected) and he's driving me there to see the show. Yes, the drive there shall be fun...

I ordered mine the day they went on sale, and got them more or less a week later. It was a pretty reasonable timeframe.

Hotels in Chicago are few and far between because of some conventions going on down there that week. If any of you guys need accomodations, I suggest you start looking yesterday.

How early before the show are you guys gonna get there? The bands I normally see are a lot more popular in the US, so I'm used to lining up early, but have no idea when people will start getting there for this show.

Anyone know how popular the other 2 bands are?

No hotels for me and my buddy. We're road-trippin' it there and back.

Probably get home around four or five AM. Eh, whatever works.

I think the main problem with the pillows playing US shows is that no one knows about it. By "it" I mean the tour. There has been little or no advertising in papers or on the streets, as far as I know. I would say the pillows have around 30,000 fans in the US, and at least 100,000 listeners, so amount isn't the problem. I have talked to many pillows fans who didn't even know about last year's tour.

Spread the word! They should be able to sell out big shows. By advertising the shows in the media, they could get non-fans to go even.

I'm excited cuz I've been bothering my mom to take me since the day I found out about it, and she finally gave in and said it'll be a birthday present.
Now I get to sit for like 5 hours in the car to get there with her,, and since she wants to see them too I get to hang out with an old lady
whatever :)
