Now THIS seems like a pretty blatant..."copy". Though the chord progressions are apparently fairly common, it sounds a bit TOO close.

they're sorta similar in progression and not similar in chords
pillows chord progression : A C# D E F G A (octave higher)
its whole step half step whole step half step wholestep wholestep
soad: D F# G A A# C D and back to A#
its 2wholesteps halfstep wholestep halfstep wholestep wholestep and back down 2 wholesteps
the chord progression for most pillows songs are very common and simple (maybe excluding this one) progressions that are probably used in hundreds of songs although they like to add a few halfstep progressions
it
doesnt mean anyone copyed anyone
sawaos not really a good guitarist - he said himself that he doesnt really practice guitar- he focuses more on singing catchy tunes
and thats why i love the pillows
No Self Control was definitely influenced by Nirvana
most if not all underground bands wants to become more widely known
i dont really care if theyre underground or not as long as they sound good to me

everytime I hear Creep, I think of TYMT. they sound kind of the same. maybe that song was influence by Radio Head...
