Wrong. It's not as good as Californication, but I'm digging quite a few songs.

FACT: 80% of RHCP songs are about California.

I saw the video for the single. I loved it. I'll, uh, obtain this album and then draw conclusions about it. But for now, that video is fucking awesome.

Well I listened to a bunch of clips on iTunes and was disgusted. I'm not a person who only whores old stuff either, I liked By The Way. But this just sounds bad. Kinda empty and without feeling. And I thought that video wasn't that special, too .

There are worthwhile songs on there, trust me. She's Only 18, 21st Century, Wet Sand, Readymade, and Torture Me are some favorites. I'd say that it takes a few listens to appreciate the songs.

Oh wait. No it doesn't. I'm just trying to create some indie stir.

i really like the whole album, there are osme boring songs, but they have alot of great songs. Made you Feel Better is really one of my favorites, along with Wet Sand, Torture me, Dani California, Hey Oh(Snow), and many others. Alot of the funk stuff is really good too. Dont jsut go by what you hear on samples, but you may not liek this album if you jsut like songs like By the Way and Cant Stop, even though they're really good songs.

There is a little too much mid-tempo stuff, but I keep finding more and more good things as I listen.

I love that video. Flea makes a great Bootsy Collins.

came across a blog entry:
If you've been paying attention to music news the past couple days, you may have heard that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are in a bit of hot water. It seems their current hit single "Dani California" may well be a blatant rip-off of Tom Petty's hit "Mary Jane's Last Dance" from a decade or so ago.
