My brother is currently at E3 (he has connections ), and he says that Nintendo has pretty much dominated the show this year. Sony became a laughing stock when they proved how truly un-innovative they are: not only did they fail at creating a new controller and have to default to the same old shell, but then they shoved a gyroscope in there just to match Nintendo (ha).
Not only does the new Smash Bros look great (solid snake!!), but apparently the controllers are incredibly accurate and well designed. My brother waited on line for about 3.5 hrs to try it. He played a tennis demo. When he twirled the controller, the racket mimicked the motion perfectly. He could slice the ball, put spin on it, and even pop it up vertically

Yeah, Wii is starting to sound insanely good.
Even the launch games are starting to look good. Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime for launch? Wow.
With the inclusion of Dragon Warrior and all the NES/SNES/N64/Gen/TGFX games.

**DOES THE MARIO DANCE**
So sick. Today I mentioned on a radio show my love for the new Smash Bros. and the inclusion of Solid Snake; and also the exciting new of a new Duck Hunt game. The other two in the studio were very ecstatic.

It does seem the general consensus is that the Wii controller is pretty slick. I have read one account that says otherwise, however.

I'm really hoping this is just a problem with Red Steel. Everyone seems to think the first party games control fantastically, so that at least appears to be the case.

I guess Sony couldn't come up with a unique controller like Wii, so they had to steal the whole 3D controller idea? Now there's some good creative skill.

Trust me when I say that Nintendo has yet to fuck up when it comes to its systems. I bought my Gamecube on launch day; and have not had a problem whatsoever with it. XBOX, XBOX360, & PS2, on the other hand, still screws up once in a while.

I think Nintendo wants to forget that disaster.
