Beg, steal, or fuck your way to NYC/Chicago/Seattle.
Or just tell your parents that the pillows are getting old and that they won't be around for much longer. SUPMANABEANDSHIN
Looking at the Crocodile Cafe website it does not say anthing about the pillows June 24th. I wonder if they won't be added to the line up.
Yeah, it has a list of four different bands...hm...I'm scouring their site twice a day though, so hopefully we'll know soon. Anyone else besides me and BDMonster (and probably AWPJudy) coming up to Seattle for the show? Beware, a quote I read (and I agree with) in a review of the Crocodile Cafe: "Kids these days can be fascists or sheep. The staff here is a mix of both."
If you plan on making it, be sure to wipe your feet at the door, say please and thank you, smile, tip extra, don't complain, don't speak unless spoken to, and speak quietly. Or else you will be banned.

As I mentioned before, my friend and I were planning on going to NYC for that show. But shit, Seattle is much closer. So if there's no LA or SF show going down, you BIX NOODS up thar will be seeing my BIXOR ass at that show.
Indeed, as does Joyuese.
I oughta be. What's the date? 20th?
And yeah, it's like a 4 - 4 1/2 hour trip from where I live, as well. Worth the trouble.

Yes and yes. Chicago June 20th, all ages, Logan Square Auditorium.
Please pimp it.
99% sure there will be an LA show, the venue just has not be determined yet.
They aren't playing Boston this year, sorry. But c'mon you guys, Boston is like 200 miles from NYC. There are fans in Atlanta, Miami, Denver ect... and you guys are complaining about 200 miles. That's like 4 hours, 3 1/2 if you speed a little, by car. It would take about 45 minutes by plane. It's nothing. I'm going to have twice as long of a drive to Chicago and this is only if I can make it. I don't even know if I can go yet.
My parents are my only means of transportation; and I have no money for a plane ticket. My sister's boyfriend lives in New York; but he's too busy to do it. I was so hoping for a Boston show 'cause I told all my friends and cousins about them (and played their CDs; which they really loved to my surprise); and they wanted to experience the full Non Fiction experience that is the pillows. That's why I'm bummed most of all.

And none of your friends who love the Pillows are going to see them? At all?
Guess they don't love them that much.

Amtrak's what I took to Chicago last year. It was actually pretty nice. It's what I'm considering this year.
Edit: probably not what I'm going with, though.

This is all true, don't hesitate and plus going to any of these shows will be awsome. I can only go to the NY show but after last years experience at the knitting factory Im looking forward to another truly great memory of seeing the pillows live. Because yeah it would be amazing to see all there shows but we can't so just take to heart the one you can and will see. That way it will make it all the worth while.
