Yeah dude, um, take the cost of your plane ticket, square it, and you have the cost of a 3 day, 3 night stay in a hotel in Manhattan. EVEN IN SOHO/Lower Manhattan, which is where the knitting factory is, a two-star hotel will run you $169 a night.

So yeah, you should definitely consider packing a few extra cardboard boxes to sleep on in Central Park and some foam cups, and pray that in the following morning someone will be nice enough to give their half eaten bagel and a few Now & Laters....

But on a serious note, you should consider staying at a friends' house....if any pillows' fans happen to stay at a co-op in Manhattan. Or else you seriously will have no money to buy some Pillows merch....or as a matter of fact, anything in NYC.

I plan on flying to Newark then jumping on the Jersey Turnpike to stay with a friend downtown.

well yeah, i have acousin who lives around there...but i dont want to intrude with my friend there as well.

and there are a few hotels a block or two away from knitting factory...no rating on them though

so anyone there who happens to have some space where they are staying in new york, mind giving some roof to myself, my dad and my friend?

still this is about 500-700 ish just for this trip(+pillows merch)....if i see the pillows live i believe its gonna be worth it
