Too bad the LA show totally blew. I doubt they'll be back here...
Are you fucking kidding me? They have LA fans. What blew was the venue they played. Fuck the King King.
What I meant was the the show at the King King totally blew. It was horrible, well at least the audience. HOPEFULLY they decide to give Los Angeles another try
What I was trying to say is that they may not have gotten such a positive response from Los Angeles and don't see much of a point in going back to Los Angeles.

They have fans here. I can see them not going back to King King though. But the fans will come. I for sure as hell will.
You might be thinking that noodles had a good turn out of fans 2 months ago, but that's cuz they have sex appeal.

They should just go to Knitting Factory Hollywood.
Unless the place is completely booked already.

That's what I was thinking they should do. I dont' think it's all booked up. Besides, we don't of any other days. Depends if their last stop is in NY.

Yeah, thats true.
They always announce their dates seperately and slowly.
If it turned out to be Knitting Factory Hollywood, it would be close to where I live. And it's close to King King as well.
noodles isn't playing. They already did. Besides, the pillows don't need noodles to hold their hand in America, like ominstry suggested.
Noodles didn't come to East coast, though! Is it wrong to assume that Noodles would not tour with Pillows again? I was kind of hoping they'd be at the same show this time, but I can see why Noodles would be reluctant to sit on another 13+hour plane ride to get over here for a gig. Hopefully they'll swing by the East coast sometime this year, though
In any case I'm interested in seeing what kind of song list The Pillows will be compiling for this show. My guess would be a lot of their "newer" stuff (Third Eye, Nonfiction, etc.) compiled with their FLCL staples (Hybrid Rainbow, Last Dinosaur etc).

I know I'm a manic perfectionist, and I usually don't correct people on these kinds of things (grammar, misspellings, etc., because, honestly, other people usually don't care, and I don't want to annoy them or nit-pick), no matter how much they bother me, but you spelled all of those wrong (not the letters so much as the capitalization, though), you know, and I feel that I need to point it out. I'm sorry if you hate me for it and even more if you don't care, but I think what annoys me the most is that you repeatedly capitalized the bands' names. I don't expect anyone to memorize how the songs are capitalized (including myself), but the bands are a different matter. It's the same kind of thing as, for example, Kagrra, having a comma at the end or L'Arc~en~Ciel being spelled with the tildes or NINE MILES being in all caps or KoRn having a backwards "R" or Dir en grey being spelled with only the "D" in "Dir" capitalized etc.
The band names are both completely lowercase, being the pillows and noodles (you'll see that right on the logos). "Third Eye" is the only one that I'm unsure of myself, and I know that that is not correct. The third eye is, I believe capitalized how I just did, because that's how it usually is on the official site, but on the cover it is in all caps, and that is how the title of the single, but not the song, is on the official site, so I have no clue about that. I don't have it myself, so I can't look to see which is correct for the song (if someone else could, I would appreciate it, because it annoys me). "Nonfiction" is spelled as two separate words, with the first letters capitalized, being Non Fiction. The other two songs are in all caps: HYBRID RAINBOW and LAST DINOSAUR.
. . .
I'm sincerely sorry, yet, at the same time, I hope you read that. I'm satisfied now, even if you don't, though.

Since I live in PA, it's only gonna be a 6 hour drive. All I have to handle is money for the hotel (and parking) and if I want to go to both shows or not. Hopefully I'll be able to accrue around $500 in two months.
I'm very excited for this. It'd be really awesome if they had a Philadelphia venue, because my dad has family in Allentown, which is around an hour away. No hotel! It would be cool if they came to Pittsburgh, but I doubt it.
The only time I've ever been out of state was when I had to go to West Virginia for a wedding. Even then, it was only ten minutes in. This will be a very interesting experience.
Die kozumou.
seriously.
I seriously laughed out loud on this one.... lol, brutal!
Kozumou, I am well aware that both bands' names are written in all lowercase letters. I guess I like to be able to discern between a comfortable thing I rest my head on when I sleep, and a j-rock band, despite knowing the "correct spelling" of each bands' name. Oh and if you really wanted to be hardcore about it, Hybrid Rainbow was originally written in katakana, IIRC.
Are you planning on attending one of their live shows? If so, I'd just like to offer some friendly advice: as you can tell by people's general reaction to your post (lol again), not many people care about trivial matters like these. In fact, I'm sure you'll run into a lot of more casual fans who aren't even on Instant Music, and drunk people who don't even know who The Pillows are. My advice to you is just let that stuff slide, man. It's not worth fussing over.
The point is, whether I type "the pillows", "The pillows", "The Pillows", or "Th3 PILLOWZ" you know who and what I am talking about.
