DOUBLE TAPPING GO HOME
The shred head is just tasteless.
The greatest use of double tapping was by Joe Satriani.
Listen to 'Midnight'.
Go check out Buckethead's ten finger tapping. Puts satriani to shame.

Thats ok.
I have heard 10 finger tapping before, and it was by the original performer.
The lead guitar player for Night Ranger was the first person to ever use 10 finger tapping.
And have you even listened to Midnight? They are so different.
Buckethead uses tapping intertwined in his leads. Sure it's impressive,
but Satriani's 'Midnight' is a song in and of it self. You actually have to use
8 fingers just to play it. And it's more of an etude than a lead playing
technique.
You should compare apples to oranges next.

Oranges roll better, and apples are good donkey food.
Satriani is plenty good. Didn't mean to put him down at all. And there really is nobody quite like him, and his style couldn't be more amazing. non-sarcastic for once.

But since it's buckethead.... check out the self titled song "buckethead" featuring Les Claypool. Nice little solo in that one.
