Please Mr. Lostman is better than all 3 of those albums.

Energy and Razorlike Blue are anything BUT mediocre.
The lyrics for razorlike blue are horrible. It should have been an instrumental. Same goes for Energy.

Does anyone else think Sono Wa Ima sounds almost exactly like to Last Dinosaur?
First of all, Razorlike Blue and Energy were awesome, especially Energy. I don't see how making the instrumentals would improve them.

And second of all it's Sono Mirai wa Ima. Not Sono Wa Ima. But yes, it's very similar to it.

I'd say as good as Little Busters and Happy Bivouac, better than Runners High. But yeah, it shouldn't have any votes either.

Anyone who thinks White Incarnation is the worst is stupid. Moon Gold doesn't have great vocals, but is great, cheesy fun, in my opinion- though I would say Sayounara Tansai Wakusei is among the best of their early works.

Moon Gold isn't all that great. Everything sounds completely drunk and trippy, and the only good songs on there is This is my Fashion, Ame ni Utaeba, WANT TO SLEEP FOR, and Sayounara Tansai Wakusei

Fully agree'd. I loved how you could feel the "jazzy" creeping in. Tonight is just so smooth and buttery.

Yes, yes, I know it's not "jazz" - chord progressions, sevenths, pentatonic, theory, etc - but the sense of it is there.

I wouldn't say that any of them should die, but my least favorite would probably be Pantomime, Moon Gold, and White Incarnation (I'm not quite sure in what order). Obviously, the albums have some great songs, and there are very few tracks (if any) that I flat-out dislike, but when compared to the rest of their stuff I have a lot less love for these albums (especially since some of the best songs of these albums have been remade in better form on Turn Back - and the PL Boku wa Kakera rocks too). I'd say about half of the tracks on those albums are really quite "meh", and the overall presentation is pretty rough (though a bit charming for that same reason).

Penalty Life and Good Dreams are getting a freaking ton of votes, but I'd put those albums slightly above the three I mentioned. I voted Moon Gold.

edit: I have to say, I'm pretty shocked that Good Dreams is "winning" this poll. Have you guys listened to the album more than once? >.> It's freaking good. In response to some other comments about it, I'm a musician myself; I've studied music and heard tons of it. I don't think that being "musically experienced" means you won't like Good Dreams. Being "musically experienced" simply means that you've spent a lot of time developing your own taste in music and finding out what you like; this doesn't mean that less experienced people are "wrong", or that certain music is only appealing to people of certain levels of "musical experience". Everyone's taste is different.

Of course, it's very satisfying to play the elitist: my music is *always* better than whatever crap you're listening to.

Fixed typo, thanks Ureshii.

(I'm not trying to sound condescending, but..) How is it trippy?

Moon Gold has grown on me a lot lately.

Moon Gold isn't cheesy. It's a much more earnest musical effort than my foot.

I am voting for Pantomime. Of the pre-PML, my hierarchy is WI>LF>KS>MG>90'sML>Pantomime.

Reasons:

short length
unintentionally funny (and loud) vocals throughout
the whole first half of the title track was... weird...

Although I did like:

the music on Stand Up and Go
the second half of the title track
Energy

I liked 90's My Life better because:

it's just better.
Sawao's mic isn't jacked up to 11
90's My Life :groovin:

I certainly agree with that. My Foot played it way too safe. Every band has to start somewhere, and you can tell they were definitely giving Moon Gold everything they had. My Foot feels lazy. Despite this, I think My Foot is a better listen, though maybe not by a whole lot.
