My Foot
Third Eye
Nonfiction
Nonfiction is the 2nd best for me. I like it alot. Except its intro is a total rip from GO!GO!7188's Nai Mono Nedari

I just read the lyrics to Gazelle City and fell in love.

My views on liking this album are changing each time I listen to it as a whole. I listened to it last night and thought overall it was a great album excecpt for a few songs that could be skipped. At this point, I'm still unsure of actually accepting My Foot as something I'd listen to often.

Fixed...
Anyways, Little Buster's Review of MY FOOT:
MY FOOT - Very solid intro track, I loved the distorted bassline/simple drumbeat intro, I knew when I heard it that this album would be much different than the previous. And I was correct, I adored the chord progressions Manabe was making throughout the verses, the dual solo was ok but lacks in comparison to what Third Eye accomplished, but still very well done and refreshing none the less. Grade: A
ROCK'N'ROLL SINNERS - The song was ok, nothing too special, one of the only songs I skip from the album and replace with HEART IS THERE or one of the other b-sides from the previous 2 singles. The lyrics though cheesey add a slightly sentimental touch to it, it feels like it was written out of inspiration from the U.S. Tour. Grade: C+
Kuuchuu Rejisuta - This song I also disliked from the start, however the song began to grow on me and has become a regular on my playlist. The sound of the song makes it seem like it was either a predecessor or successor to Non Fiction, either way I sometimes feel that this should've taken it's place instead as the single (although HEART IS THERE strongly surpasses it as well). Solo is strong and vibrant, very nice song. Grade: A
The Third Eye - Ahh, then the pillows began to kick it in gear and really start to rock. I enjoyed this song very much when it came out as a single, and I still do enjoy it now that the new album came out recently. Solid intro, catchy verses, splendid outro, and a sublime dual solo between Sawao and Pee. A very nice song to compliment the album. Grade: A+
MIGHTY LOVERS - The song to follow Third Eye, also one of the songs I disliked at first, but also another one of the songs that grew on me immensely. The lyrics are lovely and are quite amusing as Sawao undoubtedlly gets straight to the point in this love song. Nice solo and the sound of the song compliments the previous song with shades of it as well freckeled here and there in the song. Grade: A
Non Fiction - Then Non Fiction starts to play, I adored it when it appeared as the single, but now my appreciation for it has begun to wane. It still is a terrific song with a really catchy intro and even catchier PV. Although I can't help but contimplate and wonder on what it was that made me start to listen to it less. Overall it is a good song but it has lost some luster. Grade: B
DEGENERATION - Eh, this is the other song that I mentioned that I skip regularly and replace with a b-side. Might be for some but its not really for me. The lyrics are too repetitive, and the tune of the song is just drolling. Not much for me to say on the song. Grade: C
March of The God - But then things pick back up again as Shin-chan beats those snares into the intro of this colorful instrumental. The sound is reminiscent of many of they're former instrumentals, shades of each found here and there. Jun's basswork really does shine in this song when he chimes in here and there with Sawao, and Manabe's solo really brings the song together, I can really picture this song being a really good live song. Grade: A
My Girl (Document Ver.) - GIRLFRIEND!!! That would be my first initial though upon hearing this song begin, it feels like a successor to that beautiful song we all know and love. But of course Girlfriend this song is not. But that doesn't mean its bad, I adore this song and enjoy it's lyrics and Sawao's vocals very dearly. The changes made from the b-side version are very impressive, and the solo shows shades of TYMT and really rocks. I enjoyed hearing this song a lot. Grade: A
Sayonara Universe - <3 This song really follows through after My Girl, everything begins to pick-up and blossom thoughout this song, beginning with that haunting intro, Sawao's crooning soon becomes bold, emotion-filled bellowing and yells, Pee's solo steps up and compliments and suits the song so well. After many listens it feels more and more everytime to me like a successor to Hybrid Rainbow. Many of you will disagree with me I know, but after awhile, it all sinks in and you really can see where it has that Hybrid Rainbow feel. Favorite song off the album. Grade: A+
Gazelle City - Splendid simple song to end the album with. Has a very clean feel to it. Clean catchy engrish verses and choruses. Even catchier guitar riffs, they really did dig back into they're age old formula for that song that just lingers in your ears and gets you really into it. And yet it's a shame that it is the last song on the album, its like after you finish off the album it's left you wanting more thinking "No don't end yet, they just really got into the swing of things" and yet it really makes you believe that whatever is around the corner will be something that will live up to that feeling. Great song to end on. Grade: A+
Overall Grade: A
I truely did enjoy this album spare the 2 that I disliked. Every other song was solid and a joy to listen to. Hopefully they're future works will be even better, and hopefully they can recapture that glorious tone they once had.

I wasn't hating on it. I just said Sayonara Universe sounded too much like it to be considered original.
Just take the album tracks you don't like and substitute single tracks you do.
Interesting...
My Foot Track Listing, as arranged by reneisdead:
01. My Foot
02. Rock'N'Roll Sinners
03. Slow Down
04. Kuuchu Rejisuta
05. The Third Eye
06. Mighty Lovers
07. Nonfiction
08. Wakare No Uta crossfading into March Of The God
09. My Girl (Document Version)
10. Sayonara Yunibasu
11. Gazelle City
Bonus Track - My Girl (Fiction Version)
Though I agree with most people that the "dance beat" is overused in the entire My Foot recordings, I'd like to fit in Wakare No Uta without it seeming like yet ANOTHER frikkin' dance beat song. So, I figure crossfading it into March Of The God would work beautifully. The only setback is it would make for an absurdly long track.
I'd also want to squeeze in Heart Is There, but having that many dance beats is just ludicrous. It's also perfect as a B-Side, since it's a cover. Same as Beehive, I suppose... Though, I'd argue that Beehive should have been a single... >:\ But, I digress...
I hate Degeneration on this album. It doesn't feel like a Pillows song. It feels like a Predators song...? In it's place I'd put Slow Down, which I thought was an excellent track on The Third Eye EP. However, putting Slow Down right after Nonfiction would sound a bit redundant, so I placed it as track #3, and bumped up the rest.
In lieu of Little Busters (Redux), I'd put My Girl (Fiction Version) as a bonus track. Doing this, coupled with Slow Down and Wakare No Uta, would inadvertedly kill any chance of a second single. So I'd put the remaining songs in the Nonfiction single:
1. Nonfiction
2. The Third Eye
3. Heart Is There
4. Degeneration
In truth, I'd eliminate The Third Eye entirely from the single, but seeing as how releasing a PV for a song that's not on the new single is absurd, it has to stick.
Hmmmmm... I think I'm gonna actually burn these. Heh.

whats with everyone and sayonara universe, i really didn't think it was too good. THe vocals bore me, and i'm not too into the overall sound of the song. I like the intro though. I'd give it like a B+.

To the people giving an "A" to songs like My Foot, is that compared to just other tracks off of the album or the entire Pillows' discography?

More like rip-off of the aforementioned Noboranai Taiyou.
