EDIT: Anyone know what Jun means about his wristband? Seems like you're supposed to use a wristband to rub down the corner of your bass...eh?
You dont want your unprotected wrist to get wristburn do you? Wear protection kids
Hardcore downpicking leads to wristburn.

I don't think that solo part hard and I don't even "officialy" play guitar.

He says, I think, that when playing picking like he does you use a wristband so you can easier move your hand like the way he does. And he adds that it's not fashion.

I think he says it makes the movement over the edge of the bass smoother.

Which, Hybrid Rainbow? It's not really that difficult at all, but sometimes it tough to keep the pick situated for the entire thing.

Goddammit. Fucking his picking technique is terrible. PICKING technique. PICKING!!! ON A BASS!!!!
Or does he mean to "look cool" at the expense of sound quality?
Either way, he sucks. Make his ass learn upright.

i think he can play using the fingers too, and that he somewhat also want to look cool. Some stuff, in general, don't sound good played with fingers and other don't sound good played with pick, but who cares for bass anyway.

What's the noticable difference in using fingers, compared to a pick?
Bass noob, here.

Well, apparently Steven's anus gets all inflamed when you use a pick...

It'd SEEM like you'd get a cleaner, louder, and more distinct sound with a pick. More precision, too.

I don't play bass, but my understanding is that playing with one's fingers allows much faster access to all the strings and thus the ability to better play more complex basslines.
Or maybe I'm just, like, totally wrong, dude.
