listen to it in media player and mess with the balance. yamanaka isn't doing sliding, it's manabe. on this album, yamanaka's guitar is in the right headphone and manabe's is on the left. if you listen with the balance all the way to the right, you can hear yamanaka's guitar really well, and he's just doing power chords, four of them, fourteen strokes per chord in a steady pattern. it sounds something like this, but i might be a bit low:

(yes, that's a ten). he does the same exact chords for like 85% of the song. the first half of the chorus eludes me, but the part where he goes "namida ga tsutatte hoho wo nurasunda ROBOTTO no you na tsumetai boku no" he does those same chords, but instead of fourteen strokes, he only does seven for each chord.

if you put your balance all the way to the left, you can hear clearly all the sliding is coming from manabe.
