I'm usually a big fan of all their music, but i'd have to go with

Come On, Ghost

For some reason, I just didn't like it. :|

Wow that is the worst least favorite song ever. Change it.

Agreed, Tatsu-kun. Moon Is Mine is a very nice song, and 'Please Mr. Lostman' is probably one of their more varied and eclectic albums, which is lovely. For my least favorite, I take a lot of heat from most pillows fans I know, but I have to go with 'Hybrid Rainbow'. To me, it seems like the generic favorite most folks have; It's got a catchy hook in the verse and the lyrics are well done, it's just...That screaming of Sawao's during the chorus sounds to me more like a siezure than anything else. It just gets on my nerves a bit, but it's still a good piece. I like it, but, I like it the least of all.

I have a slight aversion to Hybrid Rainbow similar to that which I have toward Bohemian Rhapsody (and we are the champions, we will rock you, etc.). They're just too overplayed. No fault of the songs (all are excellent), no fault of the artist ("Bad band, you got a hit!" - NO.), and really no fault of those who overplay/hype them. I think it's just a silly desire to like things that are not so much the mainstream, which is all well and good often times, but it shouldn't deter one from liking genuinely good things, despite their mainstream popularity.

The Darkness is another good example of this for me, I enjoyed their album quite a bit (don't they have a new one coming out soon?), but I almost don't like to admit it because of the fact that every blasted moron was going around singing I Believe in a Thing Called Love every second they weren't stuffing food in their mouth or sleeping. At least that was the only song it seems most listened to, as no one seemed to have really listened to the rest of the album - most of which is quite good.

I don't listen to Hybrid Rainbow as much as I used to, but it's still a great song. Of course when you hear it live and the band is 4 feet away from you, it sounds 10x better. God I hope they come back soon.

I had a friend see them at ACEN when they swung in for it before the Delicious Bump tour who told me the same thing. Also, someone compared their live sound to the crisp, clean, vibrant one that weezer and the Foo Fighters achieved...Not to mention, to take a quote from Rivers, that 'Louder than God' would be appropriate. Can anyone who saw the pillows verify this comparison as true?

There aren't really many rock shows that are quiet. I'd say the pillows are just run of the mill, volume-wise.

Bad Dreams (suck), Monster C.C. (boring highly overrated), Dead Stock Paradise (suck), Our Love and Peace (suck), Beautiful Morning With You (boring.), and a few more off of PL I don't feel like typing out.

I actually think My Girl is okay. I didn't think "emo" when I first heard it. I just miss the drums.
