Hey, I've always heralded that song as fucking golden godliness.
It's one of my favorites off Living Field, maybe 3rd or 4th.
Edit: Wake Up Frenzy! is really good.

Lo-fi Boy, Fighter Girl is mighty cool, and most of the stuff off of Runners High I really like, I can't think ofd anything specific that is underated off of it.

Rookie Jet is just okay, imo, but Fool on the Planet cannot be overrated, so it is probably being underrated.

Maybe my least favorite pillows song (for that bad dreams probably take the gold)

Monster C.C. seems to be really overlooked. The more I listen to it the more I like it. The grungry feel of the guitars is awesome and the guitar solo is one of Manabe's best in recent times...would love to see this song live!
Good Morning, Good News...really different from a lot of their stuff, great energetic vocals, sweet guitar solos, almost a skate punk feel to the song, minus the bullshit!
Blues Drive Monster...I know right now you are thinking "WHAT THE SHIT!?, OMGZ IT WUZ ON TEH FOOLIE COOLYZ!!" but I haven't seen it brought up more than a few times. I believe this is them at their prime. One of thier heavier songs, and the guitar work is incredible all the way through...great on Busters on the Planet...
word.
Translated: The era of boys locking themselves away in rooms Littered with keys Slipping out from the radio, An electric monster The speakers only whisper out What you shouted at the top of your lungs I saw the era's chosen hero Vanquished before my eyes Power Station I'll give you as many volts as you want
In conclusion, Blues Drive Monster wins.

Whenever I hear BDM I'm transported back to those glorious moments when I stood mere feet away as The Pillows rocked their way through that splendid tune... *sigh* good times

I know what you mean. At the knitting factory show I was rocking out so hard I almost had a heart attack...I mean seriously right after ADVICE I was getting chestpains and my heart started to slow down. But I would do it all again in a heart beat.

It was scary bro, no joke. but I remember kidding to my self "if its my time to go, then at least I can die knowing I saw the pillows". Especially Sleepy Head. Wild Stuff.
