Tatsu-Kun said I listen to maybe 5 songs on GD. About 8 or 9 on PL. I don't like: Frontiers, Bad Dreams, Rosy Head, Lo-Fi Boy, Fighter Girl, New Years Eve. On PL I don't listen to Noboranai Taiyou, or Mole Town Prisoner.
how can you say that? All those songs are great especially Frontiers and Rosy Head.
Ill be honest I could have done with "you stood like an angel" (it isnt really bad, its just okay like Smiles " to the edge of the world").
And to be even more honest, penalty life is good fun music but alot of it is tounge and cheek. PL dose not have as much depth as Good Dreams.
If i can be anymore honest with you guys we really should not be even comparing these two albums. its unfair to both.

You mean tongue-in-cheek. I don't know where you get that notion, though. I also don't know how you decide what is "deep."

Fail.
I like most of the songs on both albums for what they are. Neither of them are bad albums.

Because Frontiers is boring for me, I always have to change it. And Rosy Head would be fine, even good, but the chorus is really annoying to me. And how can you say Kono Yo No Hate Made is mediocre? It's one of the best on that album ( or in general).

Uh, I assume by the fac that you have prefaced your post with the word fail that you think something about this thread or someone in this thread has failed at something. Could you be a little bit more specific?

Aren't you forgetting something? Something that begins with a "Sono" and ends with a "Mirai wa Ima"?
sono mirai wa ima is good, but eh, i like other songs on the album alot more.
Anyway, i like the sound of Good Dreams better than the sound of PL, even if they apparently sound exactly the same, i think GD is a differant, more interesting sound. But i like PL as well, it was close.

Penalty Life I merely do not listen to as often. It's a pretty good album - completely different that good dreams though. I think Good Dreams is more of a mix between Smile and TYMT and Penalty Life is a mix between Smile and the albums following PML.

By Deep I mean emotionally engaging between the artists work and the audience listening.

I think the song drags from begining to end plus the sound of the song and the chorus kind of get on my nerves. But no worries, I still listen to it every time I listen to the album. To each his own.

Thats a interesting Observation. However I might say Good Dreams (if it is a mix at all) is a Happy Bivouac and Please Mr. Lostman hybrid. I hear a lot of those albums in GD.
