it's difficult to correctly catch things by ear even in songs in your native language. with japanese, never mind sawao's mangled english, it's pretty much futile without being able to look at the original lyrics. if you want to work on lyrics and you need booklet scans, please ask and one of us would be happy to oblige you.

* romaji being japanese words written out using the english alphabet.
anyone who has studied japanese for any length of time will notice a frightening thing- MANY WORDS SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME. therefore, it's incredibly easy to mix up words if you use only the romanized lyrics and not the kanji. again, scans for a majority of the original lyrics are available if you ask. if you don't know what kanji are, then you've probably got no business translating...

just try running something through one of those translators and you'll understand why. they just don't work well, especially on something as abstract as song lyrics. also, they make my eyes bleed.
