 RPGs
Anyone ever play Baldur's Gate I or II, Icewind Dale, NWN, ect...? It seems to me someone here mentioned something about it a while back. Anyway, if you have the room on your computer and some time to kill these are good ways to do it. Another cool thing about some of them(especially BG II) is people are constantly creating mods for these games that you can download for free. Giving you new charcters, banters, ect... I've been playing these games on and off now for a few years and while I might stop for a while, I usually end up going back to them eventually. I honestly think BG II could easily be the best game ever made.

Heh. It was me that mentioned them some time ago. They are great games. I personally prefer BG1 over BG2. The freedom in it is so well done, and it's more difficult. But hey, I play BG1 in the BG2 engine using a mod, so I get to do cool things like using class kits.
Never really got into the Icewind Dale series. However, if you like BG/IWD, you owe it to yourself to try Planescape: Torment, if you haven't already. Awesome plot. ...Just thinking about it makes me want to go play it.

Tales of Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia are more of my forte.

I don't play video games very often, but I do dig an rpg now and then...
For a while this summer, I was playing this old Japanese snes rpg called Bahamut Lagoon with an english patch. Fun stuff.
Oh, and there's this game called Riviera or something that I'm pretty interested in, but have no time to play right now.

The entire Baldur's Gate series are my favorite games of all time. Closely followed by Fallout 1 and 2, of course. NWN was alot of fun while it lasted, too.

RPGs are almost the only games I play these days. I haven't really had much time or money for video games lately.
I just finished Baten Kaitos a couple of weeks ago, it's a really good and surprisingly long RPG. I think that the Chrono and Xeno games would be amoung my favorite RPGs of all time. I'm really looking forward to the remake of the first Wild ARMs game (if it's ever actually released over here, that is ) since the original on the PS1 was another one of my favorites.

Did you say BG is more difficult than BG II? I couldn't quite tell the way you worded it but that's what it sounded like. I think you are the first person I ever heard say that. BG II is much harder IMO. I have a friend who loves BG but when he tried to play BG II he said forget it, it was too much for him.
Anyway, I also like playing BG through the tutu mod, it just looks better.
They are in the process of creating a HUGE mod for BG where you can pretty much romance most of the characters. Depnding on your race and gender of course. I made one of the alternate Coran portraits for it and apparently it's being used in some other mods as well. I also did some script reading on the Coran romance part all though I didn't write any of it.

Icewind Dale is kind of a fun game. It's much faster to go through than either BG game and I think the graphics are a bit prettier. However, I was somewhat dissapointed in the ending and at how easy it was to get through.
