I've had to replace my PS1, PS2, and my Game Cube. All were first generation. My Dreamcast still works just fine though...

i guess it was just as well i had to wait for the price to drop... my ps1 survived at least six years of abuse before i finally got around to selling it.

Wow. Nintendo has very durable consoles, i'd say. The original gameboy... now that was a beast. I read a thing where it got left out in the rain, chewed on by adog, and still worked.

The only really good game i heard about recently is RE4.
I think the reason that the Gamecube didn't do as well as Ps2 and X box
is because they aim their console more towards kids even the way the system looks like some kids toy. Their games are aimed more towards kids but, Kids now does are starting to get into more mature things because they want to Feel grown up faster and gamecube doesn't have a halo or gta a games so good that people bought the systems just for those games.
Plus sony and microsoft were smart they aimed their systems and games at adults a.k.a the people who have more money.

I'm a Nintendo person. I couldn't live with out Mario and Zelda. I also just bought the Mega Man anniversary edition. I'm going to check out that Monkey Ball game. I've seen it all over the place but never picked it up.
BTW, stay away from Harvest Moon. It starts out so cute, then it get incredably boring, then the ending sucks.

games? megaman collection. i know it's on all platforms, but you can't go wrong with megaman.
i think i'm waiting for the ps2 to drop to $100 and then i'm gonna buy a new one (i kinda broke my old one when messing with a swap trick -_-)
