I thought it was a little better than mediocre. I can hear a subtle hint of Nirvana, which leads me to believe that Sawao is a Kurt Cobain fan (cover of "Breed", playing the opening part of "Teen Spirit" at the Knitting Factory, etc). Overall, I thought the instruments were pretty good, but Sawao's vocals bogged down most of the songs.

I'm actually enjoying most of the songs, especially Recall Me and Sleepy Dragon. I can definitely hear a Nirvana influence too. I just might buy this album after all...

Hmmm.
I like some of the songs, and dislike some of the others. My first impression was that Sawao's getting the whole grunge thing out, but it turns out a lot more mediocre than the attempts with The Pillows did (Runners High and such).
Eh. It's all right.

Listening for the first time right now. Doesn't seem terribly interesting, but not particularly offensive either. The production, however, is fucking terrible. The cymbals sounds like utter and complete ass. I'm definitely not very fond of the guitar sounds on this EP either.

Yeah, I touched on the Nirvana thing in my review. Here are the similarities I hear.
Territorial Pissings snare intro + Lounge Act bassline intro = Recall Me intro
Hidden track on Nevermind + elements of In Utero = Last Hunting

I liked mustang hippie, lizard man, and sleepy dragon. They're great to play at work. The rest could go back to hell where they came from.

I've listened to the album several times now and my final words:
-Recall me, Sleepy Dragon, and Mustang Hippie are the only note-worthy songs
-I love the bass in Recall me, but the chorus is bland.
-Sleepy Dragon is my favorite song on the album.
-Mustang Hippie sounds like a song the Noodles would do, that's kind of why I like it.
-The rest...blech. Ok at best.

i see predators & hear nirvana.
i think if you like nirvana u should listen to nirvana not predators.
for japanese band sound like nirvana i like early art-school.
