Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Recieved Sol-fa in the mail today. This is probably one of their best albums ever. Too bad {{ AJIKAN }} already posted some of the scans. Some of my favorite tracks are: RIRAITO, Yoru no Mukou, SIREN, Re:Re:, and RUUPU & RUUPU.
Anyone a fan of them here?

Never heard them. I remember someone saying they were pop-punk and comparing them to blink 182, so I don't know what to think.

It's never wise to take what kati has to say about music seriously.

Noted. Can I get a couple of fresh opinions about them?

I think they're pretty good. They're definitely not the same as Blink or anything.

they sound like blink from time to time. Like.. the intro to mugen glider - even though it's a good song.

I love AKFG....Probably my third favorite band, only behind The Back Horn and the Pillows.
I love the style of their music, although it can seem kind of mediocre at times.

The samples I heard were alright. It's just not a style i've been digging latley. I'll give it a little while to grow on me.

Great band and still one of my favorites.
I got into them by hearing their older, more agressive style, but I still think that Sol-fa is easily their best album. I really enjoyed Blackout and I'm eagerly awaiting their next single.

Really cool band. Love their style. Hope Tofu Records releases their albums soon here.
