 Weezer - The Blue Album I recently bought it and I love it. Some of my friends are telling me to buy their stuff up to Pinkerton, simply because one of the band members (Matt, I think) left and they don't sound good as they used to before. Is this true? I watched the Beverly Hills music video and thought it was OK, but I turned it off halfway because it was starting to bore me. Everyone says their new album Make Believe sucks.

The stuff up to Pinkerton is just the Blue Album, but your friend is greatly mistaken if he says Pinkerton isn't good. I think all there stuff is pretty good (except most of Maladroit and Beverly Hills).

The Green Album - Bad.
Maladroit - Bad.
Make Believe - Eh.
Opinions sometimes differ on Make Believe, but that's basically how it is. Decide for yourself, though. Many people do like their last three albums.

Blue album is awesome. Pinkerton is amazing. Songs from the Black Hole has good stuff on it. The rest isn't worth bothering with.
