W.O.W. was like, WOW!
the entire course of the film was an adrenaline pump *_*!
all the scenes with the tripods made my heart and brain burst into an explosive frenzy.
(gotta read!) i really liked both tom cruise's and dakota's acting in this one.
the beginning throughout the middle of the film was fantastic, but the end left much to be desired, don't you think?

i thought the movie was cool, but yeah the ending left something to be desired. Like speilberg said "shit guys were running out of money" and the looked to tom and said okay tom i just want you to take the girl to her mother."

it was a bit more intense than i expected. but better than 'the day after tomorrow' (which was one contrived OMG are they gonna make it! moment after another).
but yeah, there isn't much plot wise. i think the book/radio show ended much the same way (the guy reunites with his wife. aliens are dead. yay).

yeah. The plot for the book is about the same. He modernized all the characters, of course. But the son returning was forcing a really happy ending.

If the tripods were buried underground since before humans existed, and the whole thing was an extermination, why did they even let us exist and evolve in the first place?
