Yeah, Final Fantasy: Spirits Within wasn't like final fantasy at all, no swords or anything like that.

I can't wait that long to see it. And I heard it was coming out for PSP only. I don't think that's true (anybody know?)

Now that an official release date has finally been given to Square Enix's next foray into cinematics, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, it's no surprise that a list of limited edition bonuses has surfaced. Along with the normal version of the movie, Japan plans on seeing not only a limited edition, but also an ultimate edition.

The limited edition box set will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis, meaning that once supplies run out only the regular version will be available. The limited edition includes a bonus DVD featuring 30 minutes of footage from the original Final Fantasy VII, the movie's own trailer, and the trailer for the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. Both the normal and limited editions will retail in Japan for 4,800 yen (roughly $45). Pre-orders began several days ago on Amazon.co.jp.

While this might sound like a lot, it pales in comparison to the offerings of the ultimate edition box set. This edition will include all the bonuses available in the limited edition plus:

the Cloud/Fenrir (motorcycle) action figure set
a "Making of" video and the special Venice Film Festival version
a cap and t-shirt
the international version of Final Fantasy VII
a key chain of sorts
a "scenario replica" (a source of much confusion on the part of many translators)
The ultimate edition in its entirety will cost a considerable amount more than the limited edition: 29,500 yen (about $275).

Reminder: this news concerns the Japanese version only. There have been no words on the North American bonus goodies as of yet.

So yeah. There you have it.

Okay.
Well Final Fantasy: Spirits Within was a sci-fi movie. Why they wen't this direction with that...I have no idea.

Final Fantasy: Advent Children is Square Enix running out of ideas for games....

...Along with any other game involving characters from FF7.

He filmed Bad Taste. How could anyone say Jackson's a cliched director after seing that... thing? Sick? Yes. Shameless, maybe? Certainly. But not cliched.

I'm impatiently waiting for V for Vendetta, by the way. If it's anything like the comic book, it'll be well worth it. Hope the Wachowskis don't screw it up.

as much as i like tim burton's movies. i don't think this movie will be good. This was a great movie, and i think it should be left alone. They're making Willy Wonka(Johnny Depp) a little too stupid acting. Like the whole "Chewing gum is very gross, chewing gum i hate the most" thing and other lines make him look less cool.

And it used to be like, if the kids were greedy or whatever, they would get themselves hurt or killed even though it never really said they died, but it wasnt like Willy Wonka was trying to kill them. This time around it's like "OoOo be careful. If you do something wrong, willy wonka will kill you"

Whatever, i think its gonna be butchered. Plus, the Oompa Loompas arent even scary now.

I saw the preview for that movie and it looked ridiculously stupid.
