scarecrow profile

Dr. Jonathan Crane has been a nerd for as long as he remembers. He used to be bullied a lot in high school. But that matters not to him. He continues to study both chemistry and psychology, and earned a doctorate degree that got him a position as one of Gotham's finest psychiatrist. Soon, his obsession with the study of human fear and phobia took an unhealthy turn. He concocted a fear toxin that cause hallucinations on people that will bring out their worst fear. Crane took up the image of a Scarecrow to scare them even more. Starting out from petty crimes like robbery, Scarecrow soon became even more dangerous. He carries a sickle around and became a serial killer. He hunted down his high school mates, locked them in a haunted house and terrored them, before finally decapitating them with his sickle.

Scarecrow is in a way, the same as Batman. Batman takes the image of a bat to instill fear in criminals as he fights them. Scarecrow does the same, only to a different target audience.

i don't know if it beats the first one (i'd have to watch it again) but it was pretty darn good.

i still want my theme music. but at least they didn't try to make some cheesy new theme.

*shrugs* It was a good movie. But I think I'm just too tainted from being a fan of the comic books for so long. That movie pretty much got everything wrong starting with the very first scene. :(

oh well

It was better than the other ones because it wasn't all stupid and comic booky. They didn't try to make it funny and ruin the movie. But yeah, the first batman was good. But i think this one was better.

Batman's like actually a badass, not a bitch.

christian bale manages to cross a thin, fine line between being able to play both good - and evil. there's something about the look he carries that makes him both a heart-throb and a misogynistic killer in american psycho.

bale helps revive the initial image that batman brought to the superhero world
