To be honest, I used to watch toonami when gundam wing was on. I tried to watch the other gundams but they sucked. Stupid characters. The one right after it was okay, I can't remember which one it was though. <removed> Nothing else i've seen has been anything but stupid.
Expand your taste. Those are way noobish. Although, I like the Naruto manga.
Kudos, I dig Paranoia Agent.
On the subject of childrens TV, does anyone remember a show called "Mr. Bogus"? It was made in sweden or something.
i despised it. i think it came on after something else i liked, and it sort of signalled the end of cartoon watching for the morning.
i just watched appleseed. yeah, very beautiful, though the animation style took some getting used to. decent story. i think ghost in the shell 2: innocence might have been better. but i want to watch appleseed again with subtitles- it seemed like they didn't do the sound levels quite right in the dub and it was often hard to make out what they were saying over the bgm.

Widget?
Thats what I recall preceding Mr. Bogus. I think Widget was about a purple alien that helped protect the earth from pollution. Something like that.
Nostalgia.

I seen candies called Widgets...creepy.
Anyways, I haven't seen Paranoia Agent yet. It looked kind of odd, but I like odd animes . I was going to get Appleseed, but I couldn't decided if it was good or not. But I might try it out.
I wouldn't mind getting the complete set of Evangelion...werid show but in a good way. And I would love to have D.N.angel in my hands as a DVD. I been reading the manga andI really liked it.
Note: Dark is cool.

No I remember watching transformers at roughly the same age as those knock-off swedish cartoons.
The only thing better than transformers were ninja turtles...
really that's the ultimate pair.
I haven't seen Paranoia Agent yet. It looked kind of odd, but I like odd animes
Skip Appleseed and watch PA right now!!
Seriously, it has to be the most artistic, mind ******* thing I've seen since Lain. Think of it as a setting in Beserk, but with Twilight Zone story plots. Each episode keeps you at the edge of your ass hair.
Sadly, it hasn't been doing to hot in ratings(Trigun and FLCL actually got the top spot the week before), but a boxset is being released in July, so don't miss it.

Its funny how the Ninja Turtles were one of the few U.S. produced cartoon show that caught on in Japan. Tubular.
