exactly. you can't have the predators without the pillows. If it's inferior to the pillows, so be it. When I think of fun music I think of O.P. King, and that was brilliant.

speaking of op king, i need to download some this summer.
personally, i doubt i'll like the predators as much as i like the pillows.

I'm not expecting the predators to be as good as the pillows. I'm just hoping for a couple good songs. If the rest of the album is only as good as the single, I'll be somewhat disappointed. Bakuon Drop is not that bad, but as a single, I think it's rather weak.

I don't recall ever mentioning that I am not comparing them to any other band. I am just not going to listen to the album and be disappointed that Manabe's solos are absent because I have already come to the realization that this isn't the pillows and they are going to sound different.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If Bakuon Drop is their best choice for a single, then I don't really think that the album will be much better.
