That said, if they wanted to upscale the Seattle venue, they totally could. The Neptune is the smallest of the three concert-capable venues that STG runs (the Neptune's capacity is 800, but the Moore's is 1,800, and the Paramount's is 2,800+), and according STG's calendar, the Moore still has nothing scheduled for the 15th. Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
Seattle's actually been sold out for a couple of days now, but since it took a bit longer to sell out than all the other dates, it might not get upgraded. Still, they might give it a shot; I'm sure they can fill another few hundred seats.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm gonna need a ticket. I wasn't able to monitor this activity since I didn't have internet access from may 30th to about three hours ago. This hurts a bit.

Unless you're going for the LA or Portland shows, I think secondhand tickets are the only option left. Don't really know how to go about finding those; Facebook event pages are one option.

Yep, I'm looking for one for the show on the 13th. Sad they sold out so fast! If anyone's got an extra they are looking to sell, please DM me.

Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
Thank you Orochi, I got one! Very worth noting, Crystal Ballroom has a hotel on site, $145 for a queen/two twins room. Thankfully I get paid three times before this event, and even though one of those is mostly for the rent this month I should have enough for the vital things. There is plenty of time to work on the logistics. How many of us are flying in? Perhaps we could start together as a group at the airport and move from there. There's a lot to think about but I can't even right now so I'm going to go play a game for a bit. Keep on the lookout for more venue upgrades and shows everybody! If any more NYC tickets or mystery new happenings occur we'll be right on it.

LA show is in the process of being moved to the Mayan! They changed the location on the FB event, but tickets haven't gone up yet. Get 'em quick! https://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/1708945

Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
People on the FB were camping the Ticketfly site, waiting for them to open back up. It wouldn't surprise me if they still added another date to LA. People are still begging for spare tickets. I think the Regent was 1100 capacity, and the Mayan is up to 1700, or something like that. So a decent size increase, but there are a lot of nerds in LA...

Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
If the powers that be see this overwhelming positive response, and deem it necessary to move to bigger venues... then why still no Chicago? Sorry guys, I'm just a very disappointed Buster right now.
If the powers that be see this overwhelming positive response, and deem it necessary to move to bigger venues... then why still no Chicago?
I'm wondering if The Pillows gotta be back in Japan for something; maybe they have some more studio time already booked to finish the next album? That's just one theory; it could literally be anything, but there's gotta be a reason. AS has gotta know there's easily enough demand for a show in Chicago or Texas or anywhere, but something's in the way.

Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
You're right, there's gotta be some reason, but it's also odd this is the third time the Midwest has been skipped over. Someone earlier in one of these threads heard someone close to the band say after the '06 tour "This will be the last time the pillows stop in Chicago".
I'm wondering if they had a bad experience here or something. Like you said, it could virtually be anything. I'll just have to live vicariously through all of you during this tour!

Re: Adult Swim Sponsored US Tour in July
Someone on FB who went to one of the '06 shows said she basically wouldn't go to anymore of their concerts after how "poorly" they treated fans. I pointed out that '06 was specifically FOR My Foot, but it sounds a lot like they were heckled to play "FLCL" songs. She said they almost cut the set early because of it...
So yeah...entitled fans who didn't understand that an album tour is for the purpose of playing that album, and that set lists are rehearsed in advance.
