I've figured out the meaning of "MONO ME YOU SUN".
Phonetically, it's the same as the Japanese word "monomiyusan" (物見遊山).
"Monomiyusan" means to go on a trip for pleasure or sight-seeing.

Thanks so much for this! I think we were all wondering what the hell the tour name was about; I kinda just wrote it off as typical Sawao broken English nonsense and am now feeling a bit guilty. It's actually a genuinely cool name now that it's been explained to me.

oh shiiiiiiit it looks like Portland is getting really close too! (I went to the ticket page a little while ago and it said "all tickets are currently in other customer's carts.") [b]EDIT:[/b] Portland is now goooooooone. Only date that hasn't sold out yet is Seattle.

The rate these shows have been selling out is crazy. If anyone's thinking they might to Seattle, I'd encourage you to buy as soon as possible!

Holy crap, the MA date (which had already been updated to a bigger venue) is now [b]SOLD OUT[/b]. I'm hoping this is all just lovely, keen Pillows fans and not scalpers.

Okay, for those of you keeping score at home, every date is sold out rn except Seattle.
- Boston seems like it's done and dusted; they've already upgraded to a bigger venue once, and now that venue's sold out.
- Venue upgrade for LA has been confirmed, so more tickets definitely inbound. We're just waiting for new info and the ticket release.
- NY, SF, and OR all still have a chance of venue upgrade. Judging from the [url=https://twitter.com/FLCL_USA/status/1002019791777943554]@FLCL_USA tweet[/url], I'd say that [i]at least[/i] one of those shows will definitely be getting moved to a bigger venue.

I'm still holding out hope that both the pillows and Adult Swim will realize how much demand there is for a tour like this, and that it could be a real money maker for all parties included. If they could put together these shows on such short notice, there shouldn't be anything stopping them from throwing in a few more. But if they don't I'm guessing it's because the pillows themselves don't want to to do a big tour. Hopefully seeing the big response will cause them to reconsider if that's the case.

That would be good but I would rather them plan more shows in advance, especially since I just spent a ton more than I would have if they just came to Austin, and I can't refund my plane tickets now.

I just booked my plane ticket and hotel for nyc.... so much money
I spent all day asking myself if this was all worth it. I came to the same answer every time, if I miss out on this and it's their last tour I will regret it for the rest of my life.

What does this mean? I heard on Reddit that after SF sold out the first time, ticket sales turned back on and off and on again... Are they upgrading to a bigger venue, or did they just release more tickets?

Omg I'm trippin out. I just found out about the tour a couple minutes ago and went from near tears of joy to tears of sadness after seeing all the sold out dates. Keeping my fingers crossed to get a ticket when they upgrade the SF venue. I won't sleep well tonight

Also I don't know if they're even upgrading the SF venue. After it sold out the first time, ticket sales came back on, then they sold out again, then they came back on again, and sold out again. Maybe all they did was release more tickets for August Hall, I don't know. But if SF doesn't get upgraded, you might wanna consider road-trippin' down to LA, because LA is definitely getting more tickets soon. Or just find some secondhand SF tickets.
