Re: Favorite album/single art?
Favorite/least favorite art is a far cry from "let's rip harder on things we dislike because someone else does like it." Please try to not be hyperbolic about your hate over things in this particular subforum, as mentioned previously. Anyway, I'm on team PML, but I also really love the Nonfiction artwork a lot.

No one was doing that.

Re: Favorite album/single art?
You rather specifically did so in response to Mafu liking Pied Piper. Don't do it. Thanks.

People. On topic. Warning was given to not be a negative ninny in direct response to other Busters. No meta stupidity. Swearing over this is also not cool, warning to GR too now.

Re: Favorite album/single art?
Mafu liking Pied Piper.
"Liking" is a bit of a strong word. I appreciate that it's more than just a stock photo with impact font slapped on. It's still a pretty visually unappealing cover, though. On a more positive note, like dimsim mentioned, some of the bluray cover art has been pretty cool lately. I particularly like the reverse cover for NOOK IN THE WORLD. The photography is shot by Rui Hashimoto. He's a relatively well-known photographer who takes pictures of a lot of different bands. He recently had a gallery which featured some of his pillows photographs. http://www.ruihashimoto.com/profile.php

Re: Favorite album/single art?
Haven't they also done like, reversible covers or something sick like that?

The Nook in the World reverse cover reminds me of Epic Mickey.
Also "Stick Promise" is best art

Re: Favorite album/single art?
One Life. Front and back. It's always seemed excruciatingly beautiful to me, for some reason. It's very evocative in a way that album art rarely achieves. Probably because the imagery comes from the music video. Carnival is probably my second favorite.
I'm also a big fan of the Sono Mirai and Good Dreams illustrations. Wish they'd use more stuff by that artist, it's probably just my imagination but it seems to add a dreamy accent to the music.

His style is really distinct. If you really like his artwork, he does have a book for sale: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK- ... 935869bc81IF you ever get the chance, go to see his band play live, too.

Not a big fan the band's cover arts in general, but Good Dreams is awesome.
