I should've replied to this a while ago, but I'm really excited about this. i still really like Straightener, and I'm curious to see what Sawao and the gang have selected. I'm really hoping a faster song; I can't see the pillows covering something like Tender and doing it justice. I'm more hoping for Berserker Tune or Blue Sinks in Green. Little Miss Weekend might be cool too, as far as newer stuff goes.

I also vote for Rocksteady, however.

Sawao has covered "Evergreen" during his solo shows. Maybe they'll do a band version.

Oh man, this is gonna be awesome. It's an excellent song from an excellent album, and I can really see the pillows doing Farewell Dear Deadman justice. It's not too heavy and it's not really a true ballad either. A solid choice, IMO.

Also, Senseless Storyteller Sony is probably the perfect fit for AKFG. Looking forward to this tribute album for sure.

Sawao played Farewell Dear Deadman last night on his radio show (the final episode ).
It's a super excellent cover. Manabe's lead and solo are pretty great. The original is one of my favorite Straightener songs, but I think I like this cover even more.
