It took Stroll and Roll like, a couple weeks to appear on iTunes after release. I'm not sure why. It should be the same with NOOK. Also, dimsim is right. Amazon Japan is the way to go for physical media, and the shipping charges really aren't that bad.

I agree, I used to be exclusively HMV, but since Amazon JP instituted 500 yen flat rate shipping, it's often the best option!

Re: [2017/03/08] NOOK IN THE BRAIN (New album)
All this iTunes talk made me wanna do a comparison of AppleMusic AU/US versus AppleMusic Japan to see what the difference is in terms of pillows availability. Here's AU / US (not great really.) Here's Japan (better! but still not everything) Would be good to have everything available on apple music. At least apple music Japan. Either way its ALL almost in my iCloud Music Library so technically i have the entire discography on the go with me on all my devices. Win.

Re: [2017/03/08] NOOK IN THE BRAIN (New album)
now that it seems everyone's cds have arrived (EXCEPT MINE; DARN YOU AIRMAIL), i just wanna suggest that no rips be posted here. this site was the source of the widely shared mp3 copy of the last album...which was entirely my fault, because i was the one who reuploaded it outside of this site, but i know for a fact that the other lossless rip that went up also came from here, and im have a hunch that it would have went up regardless of whether i shared the mp3.
im all for making music accessible to everyone but a rip of nook will assuredly find its way into the piracy scene in the near future, so we dont need to be the ones to make that happen any sooner than it has to.

Share with you friends, but try not to post stuff publicly. When you post files here, they're gonna be lurked and reposted all over the net. Personally, I hate to be the guy responsible for spreading albums all over the internet.

Romaji for Be Your King and Coooming Sooon are posted; I'll keep translations and romaji coming as I have the time and energy, but I dig this album more than anything they've released since leaving King Records so I'm pretty motivated.

Re: [2017/03/08] NOOK IN THE BRAIN (New album)
just brief thoughts here: Envy, I don't like the hook. It's loud and wordy and whatever the fuck. The tune is ok. On paper the lyrics are interesting Coming Soon is just a ray of sunshine and a face full of chocolate cake. Goofy and infectious energy. She looks like new-born baby is quite peculiar. I'm giving it the Johnny Strobe award for the strange verse/big hook combo with a fat solo smack in the center. It's redundant at this point to complain about the Engrish, but if he pronounced the words better it wouldn't sound so doubly strange during the verses, because the verse melody has a unique sound to it as well. My first thought was "oh no, this one sucks". After a few more listens I get it more but I don't know if it works in the end. Still, kinda despite the interesting things going on. The combination of the loose English and the peculiar vibe of the guitar playing pulse, man what happened to the solo? solo is kill, it's kinda hard to make out and doesn't really grab my attention. The song itself is really pretty. I'd have more positive things to note if I weren't so disappointed in the guitar solo. I'll give it more time. zhelanie is pretty good, it's a very no-nonsense tune. I'll need a few more listens for anything more, but it's well sung, well played and overall very nicely put together. I'm loving Perfect Idea, Be Wild and Be Your King, and the last song haha I'm digging it! UNTIDY! But I'm not DIRTY!
Envy=loud and wordy and whatever the fuck
This was literally my first impression lolol. I dig the song now because it's got a kind of badass Advice-esque edge to some of the way the ending goes down, but I couldn't understand but a few words from listening to him sing.

For me Ousama ni nare is the stand out track as of right now. I feel like most albums top it besides Horn Again. I only gave it one listen so far though.

My feelings were similar the first few times that I listened to it, but now it's one of my favorite tracks on the album.

"Attack for a mission" still sounds like "attack formation," even knowing the actual words.
