Re: At Last.... FUTURE!
Pretty nice song... I only would prefer a suspended note... instead of the abrupt ending.
Are you guys sure it's auto tune? Maybe I am deaf. Here's an example of where auto tune almost ruined the whole song for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xbc791Uc4ESo unnecessary.
Yeah I don't hear the auto-tune in FUTURE either. If it's there, then they must've used auto-tune properly. Auto-tune is supposed to be transparent and shouldn't be noticeable to the naked ear. In the LUNA SEA song the auto-tune is indeed noticeable though it seems to be used for an effect rather than to cover up mistakes. What bothers me about it are the vibratos. Is that auto-tune there? They sound so artificial. :/

The auto-tune in Future is most apparent during the higher notes of Sawao's falsetto. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ukAxtijGQY#t=59s
"kimi to" especially. It has that glassy, robotic sheen to it. He sounds like Hatsune Miku for a few syllables.

The vibrato is real though, since their vocalist (Ryuichi Kawamura) can actually sing like that. On second glance with Future, the line GoldenRhino specified does sound like Hatsune Miku. I guess what was throwing me up is that Sawao had been able to do real falsettos in the past.

And about the vibrato, well I guess I don't understand real singing when I hear it then.

I don't know what I was expecting, but as soon as I hit play, it was like BAM AMAZING. I've always said that it was a damn shame that Tiny Boat didn't make it to any album, and even more so if it would have been an album with this.

I know, right? When I first listened, I didn't really know what to expect. I leaned in to listen and then it just got going right away and I was like "Well OK, my earholes like this..."

Re: At Last.... FUTURE!
I bought this. It's massively overpriced, fwiw. (~20 USD after domestic shipping within Japan)

Re: At Last.... FUTURE!
Yeah, I noticed the massive shipping price (800 yen for domestic shipping). And I never realized how crappy the Buster Shop was. I already assumed that they don't ship internationally, but I can't even pay them with credit card? The only options are "postal transfer" and cash on delivery. I have addresses that I can have it shipped to in Japan, but I don't feel comfortable having to ask anyone to help with paying for the damn thing as well. How disappointing...

Re: At Last.... FUTURE!
Japan is notoriously backwards when it comes to using credit cards. Most people buy stuff online by COD or sending money from their bank account (which is actually very easy to do with Japanese ATMs.) Most of my friends in Japan don't even have credit cards, and it's quite unusual to see people paying for stuff with anything other than cash.

Re: At Last.... FUTURE!
When I ordered from the Busters Shop years and years ago I used a web service. It was a few bucks extra for the service but I could pay with PayPal and they had it shipped to me via EMS in a week.
