 PS2 Games to get I recently got the urge to play some of my old PS2 games (though I don't have a system). I'm searching ebay for that now, but what games should I get that are amazing that I might not have/heard of?

Seconded. Star Ocean: The Second Story is almost definitely the specific one he's referencing. Game is fantastic, with a combat system somewhat reminiscent of the Tales games.

Actually, Second Story was for PS1. Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was for the PS2 and the one I'm referencing; however, Second Story (and even the original) are pretty great games.
If you're into playing PS1 games as well, I would highly highly recommend the Suikoden series, the Tales of... series, and the original Wild ARMs.
