I'm back at school now where I fill most of my off-time with guitar. Last semester I did a bunch of songs per request of Spike. Was wondering if any songs came to anyone's mind to tab. I have a list of songs to tab, but I'm much more motivated to tab it if someone else will enjoy it as well.

Both good ones! I remember working on the Scar Whispers at one point, and the mixing makes it really hard to decipher between guitars/tab out. But I'll give it another shot!

Holy fuck, not only did I kinda forget I was tabbing this...even coming back to it months later, it was still a challenge. SO hard to distinguish whats going on at some points...tabs up in a separate thread so people will know where to find it!

Revamping this thread as I am getting back into playing on the reg (it's weird, when I go back to school I play more than when I'm home) and I love having projects, get's me motivated to make up my own stuff.

I've always wanted a proper tab for Kim Deal. I've only ever seen chords for it and even Manabe just strums the intro in the live set.

That is a song I have not heard in a long, long time.

I'll check it out, upon listening to just the intro a couple times through, it sounds kind of tricky, what with the lo-fi midi sound obscuring the guitar a bit, but I think I'm picking out individual notes I can build on to make it out.

I've not forgot about this one, but every time I try to get it down I get discouraged, the intro riff is so hard to hear properly!

All my usual avenues of trying to isolate lead lines are proving inefficient, I can hear it a little better if I cut the bass and do a little other EQ work, but it's so deep in the mix. It's a tough-y. Manabe's part in general is, as there are other bits where I hear like upper register lead work behind the chords but can't distinguish it.

I have the main skeleton, and the solo, but it kills me that I can't fucking get this intro down pat.

Anyone wanna give it a shot with me and we can compare?
