 Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to I saw Beach Fossils again last weekend, they opened for Kurt Vile and the Violators. We ended up not sticking around for him, but we did catch the one and only Lee Ranaldo (and the Dust) as well, he was freakin' awesome.

He didn't want to go alone and asked me because I enjoy going to concerts and I ended up falling in love with Tori Kelly. She is so fucking sweet and lovable in person.  The next concert I'm going to is my own choosing and it will be Albert Hammond Jr.'s show @ Slim's in SF

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to Last show- Nine Inch Nails. My husband is a fan, I wasn't particularly a fan but it was a good show actually, some of his music is relatively mellow. Lots of cool light and projection effects.
Next show- Tegan and Sara!

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to Last show: El Ten Eleven and Slow Magic. El Ten Eleven, for just a guitarist and a drummer, puts on a really impressive live show. And while I had never heard of Slow Magic, he was also amazing to watch (he's like a live drumming DJ). Next show: Starfucker tomorrow night at Neumos!

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to Tegan and Sara was great. They did a good mix of their old and new stuff. Tegan's voice is a little different live, I guess they edit the Canadian-ness out of it in recordings or something.
Next up, Pink Martini in a couple months!

Nothing lined up soon, but I already have tickets for Tokyo Police Club in May, so excited as their new album will be out before then. There are a couple bands that are on my "still need to see list" that I'm on the lookout for constantly: Pet Lions DIIV These Animals Tame Impala

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to I saw Manchester Orchestra in Atlanta last night, it was the first concert I've seen since Zazen Boys in September 2012. They sounded really good, though I didn't know most of the songs they played (only the ones from their last album.)
The opening guy Kevin Devine was pretty good too. He reminds me a lot of Ted Leo.

If the universe really loves me, October will be the best fucking band in the world's 25th anniversary concert. We'll see how it all shakes out.
