The female bassist (from a band called SCARLET) just straight up is not as good of a bassist as Bass-Abe. /discussion. :shred:

Well, he didn't prove that in the song Hinto just uploaded, that's for sure.

Cuz none of Hinto's past stuff had groovy basslines.

Sorry, I just like his style more than hers. I'm sure their next release will prove my point (or not, but lol subjective tastes).

That much was clear from the beginning, but don't say something like, "groovy walking basslines aren't cool enough for Tidus" when that's an objective, musical element of Hinto that has been there from the beginning, despite who their bassist was.

Edit:

After listening to the song a bit more, I like it a bit more. I like the vibe with the bass and the little instrumental bridge between the verses and the chorus. It's a pretty cool song. It'll be interesting to hear what else they put out down the line.

lol, oh god, it's a gamble half the time as to whether your actual intent will get through on the net (especially via caps and such)... even for people who communicate as often as you and I do, haha.

Feeling this song a lot more now. I really like the bass jam and the lead guitar tones. Good shit. Good vibes. :groovin:

At Home Dancer is great, I love the incredibly bizarre guitar tones (especially the riff in the verse) and the chorus lead playing is great too. I haven't paid much attention to these dudes, I need to check out their old stuff. Still, this is the most exciting thing I've heard from Abe and the boys since Dreamer.

Oh man, definitely go get their EP. The album has a couple of really excellent songs on it too.

I've warmed up to Nervous Party quite a lot over the past few months. I was kind of "meh" about it at first, but looking at it now, there are only like 3 songs I'm not too fond of. Not quite as good as She See Sea, but good overall.
