A friend of mine did an English translation for the song, but for some reason he skipped a verse. :/

Well the video is certainly interesting with all the token white people. But I'm liking the song, the little bit just before the outro is really awesome, kind of wish the band would use that tone of guitar more. The solo was nice, standard fare. the chorus kept chugging along, basically in the same vein as the past three albums. But the verse was quite interesting, and I've already got it stuck in my head from just listening to it twice.

Also, seems the pillows played Happy Birthday at their past three shows, including Summer Sonic, plus another new song, クオーター 莫逆の友, at their two fanclub shows earlier this summer, which Google Translates to, "Friends of the Quarter Bakgyaku", whatever that may mean.

Yeah, Sawao's songwriting is getting pretty tight these days, but his choruses always come out the same.

It reminded me of his solo album. Really good and interesting verse melodies, with decent Sawaonese choruses. Of course, this was done better than most instances on that solo album, and picks up where the best of Trial left off nicely.

The band seems like they're starting to home in on this style, there's some good shit going on instrumentally. It sounds really tight and avoids being as simple as just the chord progression with a simple beat (which could've easily been done with a song like this).
