Howl's Moving Castle (Ha, nice signature Lesser)
lol thanks I like Howl's Moving Castle, which is surprising, since I don't really like Miyazaki movies. It's the only of his films I've ever enjoyed, in fact.

Pacific Rim was awesome, the Wolverine was pretty good, and Life of Pi was good but philosophically annoying.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
Pacific Rim was very fucking good. Awesome action, great CGI and the story wasn't bad, I was really happy that it didn't blow. Definitely worth the ticket money lol

Howl's Moving Castle is good, but it's on the lower tier of Miyazaki goodness I've seen.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
The animation in Miyazaki's films is always great, but the stories have never done much for me. Maybe I'm not the target audience? Who knows. His films have just never been especially interesting to me outside of the visuals.

agreed. The plot of Howl was really kinda...all over the place. Very visually appealing, but it kind of lost me on the story.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
The latest movie I saw in theaters was We're the Millers. It was hilarious and I loved it, definitely recommendable.
I missed the Conjuring, it is no longer near me, but I wanted to see it so bad. Guess I'll wait for it's release now...I'm looking forward to seeing the Grandmaster and You're Next coming soon!

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
Warm Bodies.
I don't typically go for "love" stories, but this movie is like... the good version of Twilight. Cause it's zombies instead of vampires. And it's not aimed at 13 year old girls.
I thought it was a great combination of romance, comedy, action, violence, and a little bit of horror. I mean come on, a zombie falls in love with a human girl and tries to win over her heart; you can't say that's ever been done before.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
After watching Frozen and having it be my favorite movie I've seen in ages (warning: I'm not really much of a movie person) I've been watching a lot of animated family movies recently. How To Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me 2, Toy Story 3, that kind of stuff. I've been having a Real Good Time. Lego Movie is next on my hit list.

I am watching and re-watching (the first 2 movies) the Matrix trilogy.
