 Suburban Legends [Ska]
My gawd. ive only started listening to Ska a couple of weeks ago, but this is the cutest music ive heard for a long time. Their "Rump Shaker" album is GREAT.

try "Bright Spring Morning" or look for "Up All Night" or "Autumn in the Park" [features a tuba player. YAER!] XD

ska is my favorite type of music in the whole world. i've never heard of these guys, so i'm listening to them right now. i was hoping for some old school ska (maybe some two-tone), but they're okay for ska punk.
you should check out Reel Big Fish, Buck-O-Nine, Suicide Machines (great live band), Potshot.
for a more traditional ska taste, try the Selecter or the Speacials,

You need to listen to the Skatalites. They are the ska band to end all ska bands, and also one of the best existing documentations of ska's first wave. Try to get some of their 60's singles (Foundation Ska is a good comp for this).
For second wave (two-tone) ska, get the first Specials album and the first Madness album. Those are both great.
For some third wave, look into a Basque group called Skalariac. Good stuff, and not too overly third wavy. The Slackers are also good.

Kim, if you're going to listen to anybody in this thread, make it TuffGhost. He knows what the fuck is up.
I second Suicide Machines' Destruction By Definition and Potshot's Pots & Shots, specifically.
And stay the Hell away from Reel Big Fish. I find everything they've recorded to be insipid.

I think Turn the Radio Off is OK. I've heard way too much of it though. I was in a ska/punk band a few years ago that covered "Beer."
