Lol, I tried to make a .gif of Manabe's guitar-romancing in the Monochrome Lovers PV, but wasn't able to. He does that kind of thing quite often; the .gif potential is great. It'd make an awesome avatar.

I think I spotted it on the pied piper tour dvd when he was playing new animal... I guess I'll go look lol... Nvm, checked a few performances I think I saw it before but they aren't as good as that one video...

Edit: Just went with the one in that video cause it's the funniest... Which one should I go with? 1 or 2?

No, they cover the songs well, they just have the feel of one of those cheesy bands who covers the look and moves etc. of the band they're covering... I lol'd when the singer first said "OH YEAH!" at the beginning of Trip Dancer... XD I'd say the bassist is the best at copying Jun... He does that side to side head bob, and forward lunge thing...

Actually, I did notice that. Plenty of "Oh yeahs!" throughout and they try and move the exact same way. Like, there was one point in Swanky Street (@ 2:01) where the bassist and singer both try and do that bobbing thing that Sawao and Jun tend to do during solos. I lol'd because it looked really awkward. Unbeknownst to them, only Yamanaka Sawao can pull off that move.

That's a TV show where Yamanaka goes around and plays some songs for people. He also plays Borderline case, a Simon and Garfunkel cover and some others. Looks like someone cut this one up badly...
I have the video somewhere in my archive (i.e. on an ancient back-up disc and buried somewhere in my closest.)

Awesome, that's the only video I found of it unfortunately...
